Law of the Land at Caravan Farm Theatre: go!!!!
Posted by Rebecca Kneen on
This summer's production of Law of the Land at Caravan Farm Theatre is wonderful. You should go. Pack up the kids, bring your grandparents, or just get a lift and get there yourself. Law of the Land returns to what made us all love Caravan for so long: hilarious musicals with politics and heart. Playwright Peter Anderson and musical director/writer John Millard reprise their 1982 play to brilliant effect, with our beloved Estelle Shook directing. Law of the Land features wonderful music, both musically interesting and hum-able. Anderson proves once again that he is a master of both the one-liner...

It's a combination of indulgence and inspiration, with everyday ingredients elevated to new heights of delectability....

One-way, single-use and non-compostable containers and packaging can no longer be a part of our lives. Recycling is not a panacea to garbage, and cannot be used to excuse the constant generation of more waste. It’s not acceptable to...
Party Pigs are Dead!
Posted by Bold Apps on
Sad to say, the party pig has met its demise. As of August 2017, we have been unable to fill party pigs. The manufacturer moved to Europe, meaning that we can no longer get parts (including the bit which had to be replaced every use). We have increased our growler sales, and have introduced a small 10L keg in an effort to partially replace the party pigs. Nothing is quite the same, and we continue to seek alternatives which will allow the constant pour for a longer time like the piggies, but we've not found a good alternative yet. As...
