Yes, it's true, we'll have the Pooka Cherry Ale again in 2019!
This very limited edition beer is made with a mild pale malt base, then finished on a mix of our very own sweet and sour cherries for 10 days. The result is a crisp, slightly tart beer with a full cherry flavour. We believe in using real fruit only, pits and all, for a taste that strongly represents the fruit. No syrups, extracts or concentrates at this brewery!
Growlers will be available for the next two weeks (July 31 - August 10) or while supplies last. We reserve the right to limit the number of growlers per customer.
Fruit beers are a summer staple - bright, refreshing, and totally different than the big rich ales of winter. Enjoy them while they are here, don't try to store them, and make the most of our seasonal bounty!
