2010 is our 10th Anniversary!

Our first Anniversary year event was in January, with special casks and local food. We'll be hosting another party in early October — see our events page for more information. Come by for a tour and taste our special 10th Anniversary Ale, a changing brew featuring the freshest local hops and a pleasing pale malt body, designed as a summer quencher for all our farming friends. You need a crisp, hoppy brew when you're working hard in the sun all day - or even when you're just here on a brewery tour.

Crannóg Ales is Canada's only Certified Organic farmhouse microbrewery, one of only a handful of such breweries in the world. We brew unfiltered, unpasteurized ales using only organic ingredients, some of which come right from our own farm. All our ales reflect the Irish tradition of brewing full-flavoured, complex ales which are also great session beers.

Crannóg Ales is located on our own ten-acre farm in Sorrento, BC. The farm and brewery are fully integrated, with the brewery providing food for the livestock, and the farm providing hops for the brewery. The water for the brewery comes from a well in the middle of our farm, fed by springs on the farm as well as streams from the mountains which surround us.

Sorrento is in the Shuswap area, just north of the Okanagan Valley in BC's interior. We are blessed with a long growing season, a temperate climate, and lots of water.
