Come celebrate the Winter Solstice with us and a select group of friends - and finish your holiday shopping at the same time. Saturday Dec 21  •  10am - 4pm at the brewery, of course. September is a busy month around the farm brewery. We still have summer days and lovely cool evenings, which means it's time to harvest hops! Hops harvest runs from early September to the end of the month, with annual variability. Our hops are coming along beautifully so far! We hire pickers for hops season, so if you want to hang with a convivial bunch for a couple of weeks, let us know. It's easy work, but you have to keep your hands moving! July 1 may be Canada's birthday as a nation (although some of our Newfoundland relatives might not agree with the timeline), but there's a lot else to think about on this day. Take the evening, join us and unsettle yourself! BC's legendary and seminal punk band, DOA is headlining the evening, joined by Victoria celtopunks The McGillicuddies. We'll be sampling all our beers as well as a variety of goods from the farm - from Christy's breads to Dave's syrups and BBQ sauce and everything in between.
