Special Events Midsummer Feast at Left Fields farm Crannóg Ales and Stellar Seeds host a Midsummer Feast on July 21, 2007 at their farm and brewery in Sorrento. Picture long tables set with linen and crystal, outside beneath the cherry trees, surrounded by the gardens from which your dinner came. French meets fresh, in this inspired combination of local food and drink. Crannóg Ales hosts a hopyard dinner with noted chef and culinary instructors Ed Walker and Ron Rosentreter. This exceptional five-course dinner will feature ingredients sourced primarily from the brewery and its farm, as well as other local stars. Each course will be paired with a special edition of one of Crannóg's ales, from appetizer to dessert. Eat local, eat fresh, eat seasonal - and discover the absolute bounty and delicious flavours of the Shuswap at the same time. Get inspired and treat yourself - with a five course meal including all the beers for the price of an average dinner! For more information see the Midsummer Feast page or call 675-6847. Tickets are available through the brewery and in advance only.
September 7–8, 2004, Victoria BC. Tickets are $20 per day in advance only. Order early, this outdoor festival sells out every year. Features cask-conditioned beers from breweries across BC and Washington State. This is the premier beer festival in Canada, and well worth every effort to attend. This festival is held in Penticton, BC, and is a wonderful celebration of the brewer's art. It, too, is a two day festival, and it holds down the spring end of the festival season. About 30 brewers from the region bring out their favorites - the festival includes local cider as well. |
